yeahh.. the DAY is here!! yay!!! nothing happen.. it's not like i'm expecting something happen anyway..
according to "Mayan Calendar" it will happen today.. no one knows when it will happen..
but it will.. someday.. don't know when.. the most important thing i think is to prepare our heart..
well.. i everyone call it DOOMSDAY but for me i like think in positive way and to call it "THE DAY"

DIY! Mixed Berries Nail Colors

anyway.. i want to share my tricks to you all how i manage to get a different colours of nail polish without BUYING A NEW ONE!!

just find any colours you have.. 2 or maybe 3 colors.. but remember the colour circle.. ok?

in this case.. i want to mix these 2 nail colours to more warm and wintery,fall feel colors.

get it? SUMMER.. FALL..

WHY?!

Last Friday, i went to small youth gathering in my church (Persekutuan doa). The speaker talk about the BIG WHY in your life. It's really made me realize and start to think and i Just want to share it with you guys =)

SO! who doesn't want to be SUCCESSFUL? who doesn't want to be RICH? who doesn't want to be HAPPY?
well.. just face it everybody wants to be all of that!!
A lot of time what we think is how.. "HOW to be success? HOW??!! I want to be happy"...
I read books about "How to be fashion designer" "fashion for dummies"(for me)
well, it's GOOD, we have to know how.. BUT!! WE are too focusing about "HOW HOW HOW???"
UNTIL! we forgot about WHY? the reason behind all of it, behind all of the hard works.
is it because "i don't know, my mom wants me to be this, to be that!" or "I want to impress my boyfriend" cause, if that it. SOMEDAY you're gonna STOP.
without the reasons WHY,
Someday you'll realize "WTH am i doing here?"
Someday when you reach the TOP, you'll think "who needs all of this? if this is not what i'm looking for or if i'm not happy."

Find your WHY.. take it slow.. sometimes it's just as a simple as "it's makes me Happy" or "I just love it" =)
or someday you'll realize it, trough ups and down, happy and sad, love and hate.

DIY Walking on sunshine!!

LOL!! i called this WALKING on SUNSHINE sneaker

SUMMER TIME! get bored with your usual, plain sneaker?

well,let's start! NOW!!

Pink (colour no1)
Orange (colour no2)
Yellow(colour no3)

1&2 -Well of course you'll need a pair of canvas unused or cheap shoes, In my case i bought this
shoes from RUBI only S$16 =)

-Some colors of fabric/textile paints (any color you like)

-Oil paint brush,water and anything that comes with holes that have pattern it it (unused
decorative paper, lace)

3. Start with the back side of the shoes, colour it with the most dark colour (no1) that's you have or use rainbow colour arrangement.(red,orange,yellow,green,blue,purple) that way the colour will be arrange nicely.

4. Put orange colour in the mid part. Then, mix little bit of colour no 1 and 2 , then blend it so the gradation is nice. do the same thing for colour no 3.

5. The tricky part is that you have to arrange your lace or nicely then place it, secure it with your hand so it won't move,then dab colour no 3 into the holes and the corner

Let it DRY and just iron it just to secure the colour into the canvas fabric.

and TA DA!!!! just walking on SUNSHINE!!!

Water Color Movements S/S 2013

23 February 2012, that's when i finished this project.
One of the trend in 2013 will be white collection; so this is my white collection project i named it water color movement
cause i've got inspired with the water color, and since it's water color so it will be have a lot of white at a little bit colors here and there
first i started it with research, then colours, fabrics (crucial part where it all begins) then start with fabric manipulations and sketches. =)

Some of you might think i'm crazy for sharing this, cause sketch book is quite secret thing for some designer, but for me if someone want to steal your idea or want to make more interesting "COPYCAT" let them be, at least we know and our friends know where it comes from.
what i learned from this project is "WE DON'T HAVE! to COLOUR EVERYTHING !!!"
hahahah that's what my teacher said. Quite interesting right? cause i realized when elementary school we'll get a bad mark for leaving a little tiny white on the picture,

well hello! finally i have finished my year 1 in fashion design major. AND IT IS EXHAUSTING, but i enjoy every minutes of it, except for the part where i don't have enough sleep and my eye turned into PANDA's eye.
